Biological Activity: WEN05-03 is a EscN ATPase inhibitor. WEN05-03 blocks the active site of EscN ATPase and competitively inhibits its ATP hydrolysis activity. WEN05-03 completely blocks actin cluster formation, reduces actin pedestal formation, and decreases the toxicity of infected mammalian cells. WEN05-03 can be used in studies related to enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infection[1][2].
