Biological Activity: CVNTANST is a fluorescent peptide that targets vimentin. CVNTANST binds to vimentin and restricts the ethylene bond rotation of tetraphenylethylene, triggering fluorescence turn-on via the restriction of intramolecular motion mechanism. CVNTANST enables wash-free fluorescence detection and imaging of vimentin-positive epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-type cancer cells and tumor tissues. CVNTANST can be used for research on EMT-type cancers[1].
