ChREBPα/14-3-3 regulator-1 sequesters ChREBPα in the cytoplasm, inhibits ChREBPβ and TXNIP responses, reduces glucolipotoxicity-induced β-cell death, and maintains β-cell identity and function. ChREBPα/14-3-3 regulator-1 can be used in studies related to type 2 diabetes[1].
