CHST15 is upregulated in fibrosis (lung, liver, kidney), tumor stroma and inflammation; chondroitin sulfate chains modified by its product participate in TGF-β activation, collagen cross-linking and fibroblast activation. Romolisiran can be used to study diseases associated with fibrosis/stromal modification[1].
