Biological Activity: Anti-neuroinflammation agent-4 is a blood-brain barrier-penetrating inhibitor of IκBα, NLRP3, and NF-κB p65. Anti-neuroinflammation agent-4 exerts anti-neuroinflammatory effects by inhibiting IκBα phosphorylation, reducing NLRP3 and caspase-1 expression, and suppressing p65 phosphorylation and its nuclear translocation, thereby decreasing the release of inflammatory mediators such as ROS, NO, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-18 in microglia. Anti-neuroinflammation agent-4 can be used for research on neuroinflammation[1].
