Biological Activity: Pyridine-3-sulfonic acid (Pyridine-3-sulphonic acid) is an orally active structural analog of Nicotine acid (HY-B0143). Pyridine-3-sulfonic acid significantly reduces hepatic cholesterol synthesis in rats but lacks cholesterol-lowering activity. Pyridine-3-sulfonic acid does not interfere with the metabolism of Nicotine acid[1][2].
