Biological Activity: Melarsoprol, a melaminophenylarsine-type trivalent organic arsenical, is an important agent for African trypanosomiasis. Melarsoprol inhibits the growth of lymphoid leukemic cell by inducing apoptosis. Melarsoprol crosses the blood-brain barrier[1][2][3].
