Urinary Incontinence

Female urinary incontinence is a prevalent condition, particularly among elderly women, characterized by the involuntary leakage of urine, with prevalence rates ranging from 15% to 55% depending on age and population. It significantly impacts physical health, mental well-being, and social functioning, leading to reduced quality of life. The condition can be classified into stress urinary incontinence (SUI), urge urinary incontinence (UUI), and mixed urinary incontinence (MUI), with similar types and impact observed in male patients, where prevalence reaches 11% in men aged 60–64 and increases to 31% in those aged 85 and older.
