m-PEG550-NHS ester (mPEG550-SC; mPEG550-Succinimidyl ester) is a polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based biocompatibility-enhancing modifier. m‑PEG550‑NHS ester enables PEGylation of molecules such as proteins, which reduces the immunogenicity and antigenicity of target molecules, decreases the tendency of protein aggregation, and protects proteins from hydrolysis. m-PEG550-NHS ester can be used in drug delivery-related research.
