Background

Enolase 1 (ENO1) is a glycolytic enzyme responsible for catalyzing the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate. Beyond its role in glycolysis, ENO1 plays a multifaceted role in various cellular processes, including growth control, hypoxia tolerance, and allergic responses.
