Cat. No.: HY-181648
CAS No.: 3059548-99-8
Target:

Galectin Apoptosis

Research Areas:

Cancer

Gal-1-IN-1 is a potent and selective human galectin-1 (hGal-1) inhibitor with a Ki of 0.022 μM. Gal-1-IN-1 blocks hGal-1 binding to tumor cells and suppresses human galectin-1-induced pre-apoptosis state. Gal-1-IN-1 reduces hGal-1-expressing cancer cell viability. Gal-1-IN-1 can be used for the research of breast cancer .

ST6GAL1-IN-1 is an orally active selective ST6GAL1 inhibitor (IC50 = 20 μM). ST6GAL1-IN-1 exhibits high antimetastatic potential, effectively inhibiting the migration of MDA-MB-231 cells at noncytotoxic concentrations. ST6GAL1-IN-1 can disrupt integrin sialylation in MDA-MB-231 cells. ST6GAL1-IN-1 inhibits tumor angiogenesis and cancer metastasis via the Integrin/VEGFR2-mediated signaling pathway. ST6GAL1-IN-1 effectively suppresses both tumor growth and cancer metastasis on the MDA-MB-231 xenograft model. ST6GAL1-IN-1 can be used for the study of Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) .

DB21, Galectin-1 Antagonist is a dibenzofuran conjugated peptidomimetic that acts as an allosteric inhibitor of galectin-1 (GAL1)binding to cell surface glycans. DB21, Galectin-1 Antagonis increases inhibition of angiogenesis and tumour growth in melanoma, lung adenocarcinoma and ovarian cancer models .

D-galactosyl-β1-3-N-acetyl-D-hexosamine phosphorylase (BiGalHexNAcP) is a member of CAZy glycoside hydrolase GH112 family, is often used in biochemical studies. D-galactosyl-β1-3-N-acetyl-D-hexosamine phosphorylase (BiGalHexNAcP) catalyses the phosphorolysis of lacto-n-biose and galacto-n-biose, to produce Gal-1-P and the corresponding N-acetyl-D-hexosamine .
