CM-272 is a first-in-class, potent, selective, substrate-competitive and reversible dual G9a/DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs) inhibitor with antitumor activities. CM-272 inhibits G9a, DNMT1, DNMT3A, DNMT3B and GLP with IC50s of 8 nM, 382 nM, 85 nM, 1200 nM and 2 nM, respectively. CM-272 inhibits cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis, inducing IFN-stimulated genes and immunogenic cell death .

Peginterferon alfa-2a (Ro 25-8310/000) is a 40 kDa branched pegylated IFN alfa-2a with antiviral and immunomodulatory activities. Peginterferon alfa-2a binds to the Interferon Receptor on the surface of target cells, induces the formation of ISGF3, and promotes the expression of effector proteins such as interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) and Mx proteins, thereby exerting sustained antiviral effects. Peginterferon alfa-2a is applicable to research on virus infections associated with chronic hepatitis C and chronic hepatitis B .
