In Vitro

1-Oleoyl lysophosphatidylcholine (1-10 μM; 15-25 min) dose-dependently induces intracellular cAMP accumulation and insulin secretion in NIT-1 mouse pancreatic β-cells via adenylate cyclase activation, with significant effects observed at concentrations ≥3 μM[1].
1-Oleoyl lysophosphatidylcholine (15 min) activates human GPR119 in RH7777 rat hepatoma cells, inducing dose-dependent intracellular cAMP accumulation with an EC50 of 1.5 μM[1].
1-Oleoyl lysophosphatidylcholine induced insulin secretion in NIT-1 mouse pancreatic β-cells is at least partially mediated by GPR119, as demonstrated by reduced secretion following siRNA-mediated knockdown of GPR119[1].
