2-Hydroxy-4-carboxymuconate semialdehyde hemiacetal dehydrogenase (EC 1.1.1.312) is an NADP+-dependent dehydrogenase belonging to the class of oxidoreductases. It catalyzes the oxidation of the substrate to acetate, producing CO2 and NADPH, and plays a role in microbial carbon metabolism and the generation of reducing power.
