Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
3,29-O-Dibenzoyloxykarounidiol (Karounidiol dibenzoate) (compound 2) (10-1000 mol ratio/TPA; 48 h) inhibits Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (TPA) (HY-18739)-induced Epstein-Barr virus early antigen activation in Raji cells, with an inhibition rate of 70.3% at 1000 mol ratio/TPA[1].
3,29-O-Dibenzoyloxykarounidiol (compound 36) (10-1000 mol ratio relative to TPA; 48 h) inhibits TPA-induced EBV-EA activation in Raji cells[2].
