4-Hydroxy-tetrahydrodipicolinate reductase
4-Hydroxy-tetrahydrodipicolinate reductase (EC 1.17.1.8) is an oxidoreductase that can catalyze multiple reactions, including reaction 1: convert (S)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrodipicolinate, NAD+ and H2O into (2S,4S)-4-hydroxy-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrodipicolinate, NADH and H+; reaction 2: convert (S)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrodipicolinate, NADP+ and H2O into (2S,4S)-4-hydroxy-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrodipicolinate, NADPH and H+.
