Activated Protein C (390-404), human potently inhibits the anticoagulant activity of APC in normal human plasma, protein S-deficient plasma, and coagulation factor VIII-deficient plasma in APTT and single-stage Xa coagulation assays, with an IC50 of 5 μM[1].
Activated Protein C (390-404), human potently inhibits APC-catalyzed inactivation of purified coagulation factor Va in the presence or absence of phospholipid vesicles; it exhibits an IC50 of 4 μM in the presence of phospholipids[1].
Activated Protein C (390-404), human (4.4 μM; 30 min) competes with native PC for binding to immunoaffinity-purified anti-(390-404) antibody, with a half-maximal competition concentration of 4.4 μM[1].
