CD161 (KLRB1/NKR-P1A) is a C-type lectin-like immune receptor primarily expressed on NK cells, NKT cells, MAIT cells, and a subset of Th17 cells; it serves as an important marker for studying the crosstalk between innate and adaptive immunity.
