Background

  • Function

RAIDD is an Adapter protein that associates with PIDD1 and the caspase CASP2 to form the PIDDosome, a complex that activates CASP2 and triggers apoptosis. Also recruits CASP2 to the TNFR-1 signaling complex through its interaction with RIPK1 and TRADD and may play a role in the tumor necrosis factor-mediated signaling pathway[1][2][3][4][5][6].

  • Expression

Tissue_specificity:Constitutively expressed in most tissues, with particularly high expression in human heart, testis, liver, skeletal muscle, fetal liver and kidney

  • Isoforms & Post-Translational Modification

    P78560 has 2 isomers: P78560-1: 22745 Da (predicted); P78560-2: 11826 Da (predicted).
