Butylparaben sodium strongly influences the later stages of the spermatogenesis in the testis through the deterioration of hormonal control and/or RNA and protein synthesis^[1].

In Vitro

Butylparaben (0-500 μM, 44 h) inhibits orcine fertilization, cleavage, and blastocyst formation rates^[3].
Butylparaben induces DNA Damage, apoptosis, and autophagy in porcine oocytes^[3].
