Biological Activity: POL1-IN-1 is a class of RNA polymerase I inhibitors with broad-spectrum antiproliferative activity against tumor cells, while selectively inhibiting RNA polymerase I transcription. By blocking RNA polymerase I-mediated rRNA synthesis, POL1-IN-1 impairs ribosome biogenesis, thereby inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis. POL1-IN-1 can be used for the research of malignant tumors[1].
