Biological Activity
(E)-Octadec-9-ene-1,12-diol (8 hrs at 65 °C) acts as a ring-opening co-monomer to fully react with epoxidized sesame and peanut oils at 65 °C for 8 hrs, forming polyols with eliminated epoxy groups and combined primary/secondary hydroxyl functionality[1].
