Glycolate oxidase-IN-1
Glycolate oxidase-IN-1(compound 26), a salicylic acid derivative, is a glycolate oxidase (GO) inhibitor with an IC50 of 38.2 μM. Glycolate oxidase-IN-1 has the ability to reduce oxalate production in hyperoxalate hepatocytes and can be used in the study of primary hyperoxaluria type 1 (PH1).

Biological Activity
Glycolate oxidase-IN-1(compound 26)(0-12.5 μM, 48 h) treated mouse hepatocytes, at a concentration of 6.25 μM, the level of excreted oxalate is significantly reduced by 67.3 ± 32%. At a concentration of 12.5 μM, the reduction is 105.8 ± 29.2% and 62.3 ± 24.4% after 24 and 48 hours of treatment, respectively, without any cytotoxicity[1].
