Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Under phase-transfer conditions, using N-benzylcinchonidinium chloride as the chiral phase-transfer catalyst, asymmetric alkylation was performed on the amino acid moieties within two specific Ni2+ complexes: the Ni2+ complex of the Schiff base formed from glycine and N-(2-pyridinecarbonyl)-o-aminobenzophenone, and the Ni2+ complex of the Schiff base formed from alanine and N-(2-pyridinecarbonyl)-o-aminobenzaldehyde[2].
