NH2-PEG5000-COOH
NH2-PEG5000-COOH is a compound composed of an NH2 group, PEG units (MW = 5000) and a carboxyl group (-COOH). NH2-PEG-COOH is widely used for surface modification and functionalization of polymer carriers or nanoparticles.

Biological Activity
NH2-PEG-COOH is directly grafted onto the surface of PPI dendrimers via amide bonds, and the resulting modified vector reduces in vitro cytotoxicity, diminishes the sub-G1 apoptotic peak, and enhances gene transfection efficiency in neuroblastoma cells[1].
NH2-PEG3400-COOH can serve as a coupling unit for constructing PLGA-PEG-COOH copolymers, enabling PEGylation of the surface of NPs while retaining terminal -COOH groups for conjugation with targeting molecules[2].
