Biological Activity
Petalostemumol G (compound 3) exhibits no antibacterial activity against Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Mycobacterium intracellulare, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis, with its MIC values ≥100 μg/mL[1].
Petalostemumol G is an artificial product with low content and unstable properties, formed by the air oxidation of petalostemumol[1].
