Biological Activity
Phloyoside I (7-epi-phlomiol) is isolated from aerial parts of Phlomis tuberosa L. in 79 mg yield, and is confirmed as a known iridoid glucoside via spectroscopic comparison to published data[1].
Phloyoside I (8 h) isolated from Eremostachys laciniata is an iridoid glucoside with the molecular formula C17H26O13, characterized by trans-diaxial C-6/C-7 hydroxyl groups and a β-cis-fused cyclopentane-dihydropyrane skeleton, as confirmed by NMR and ESI-MS data[2].
