Description

Pigment Yellow 139 is a biological dye and indicator. Pigment Yellow 139 is an organic pigment and an additive for color filters of liquid crystal displays. When formulated in a dye-pigment hybrid system, Pigment Yellow 139 can form color filters with specific chromaticity coordinates, brightness, contrast, and average particle size[1].

In Vitro

Pigment Yellow 139 shows a maximum absorption wavelength of 466 nm and a full width at half maximum of 85 nm in NMP solution[1].
Pigment Yellow 139, when formulated into a G58/Pigment Yellow 139 hybrid colour filter, exhibits chromaticity coordinates x = 0.2532, y = 0.5730, a brightness of 53.6, a contrast ratio of 13778, and an average particle size of 42.3 nm[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
