Description
BCMA/TNFRSF17 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived BCMA/TNFRSF17 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His tag.
Background
The BCMA/TNFRSF17 protein serves as a receptor for TNFSF13B/BLyS/BAFF and TNFSF13/APRIL, exerting essential functions in promoting B-cell survival and contributing to the regulation of humoral immunity. Through its activation of NF-kappa-B and JNK, BCMA/TNFRSF17 plays a pivotal role in signaling pathways associated with immune responses. Additionally, it forms associations with TRAF1, TRAF2, TRAF3, TRAF5, and TRAF6, suggesting its involvement in various cellular processes mediated by these adaptor proteins.
Verified Bioactivity
Immobilized Mouse BCMA, His Tag at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Mouse BAFF, Mouse IgG2a Fc Tag, low endotoxin with a linear range of 0.2-10.0 ng/mL.

Product Properties
Lyophilized powder
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4 with 10% trehalose as protectant.
<1 EU/μg, determined by LAL method.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).
Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere.
