Description

DCLK2 Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived DCLK2, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with GST labeled tag.

Background

DCLK2 is a protein kinase with significantly reduced Ca2+/CAM affinity and dependence compared to other members of the CaMK family. It may play a role in the down-regulation of CRE-dependent gene activation, likely by phosphorylating the CREB coactivator CRTC2/TORC2, resulting in the cytoplasmic retention of TORC2 (By similarity).

Biological Activity

Incubate FAK1 protein, ATP, and the substrate at room temperature for 40 minutes, then add the ADP-Glo reagent and read the luminescence signal using the chemiluminescence module of the microplate reader.
