DLK-1 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
DLK-1, also known as pre adipokine, is a transmembrane-secreted protein with an epidermal growth factor (EGF) -like repeat sequence. DLK-1 regulates the growth of pioneer axons by controlling Wnt signaling. DLK-1 is a cell surface protein expressed in many cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, and maybe a potential target for monoclonal antibodies to treat cancer. DLK-1 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived DLK-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Background
DLK-1, also known as pre adipokine, is a transmembrane-secreted protein with an epidermal growth factor (EGF) -like repeat sequence. DLK-1 is a member of the conserved MAPKKK double leucine zipper kinases (DLKs) that play a role in synaptic formation, axon regeneration and degeneration. DLK-1 regulates the growth of pioneer axons by controlling Wnt signaling. DLK-1 is a cell surface protein expressed in many cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, and maybe a potential target for monoclonal antibodies to treat cancer[1][2][3].

Product Properties
Lyophilized powder
Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
<1 EU/μg, determined by LAL method.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O.
Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere.
