Description
FBLN1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His, Myc) is the recombinant human-derived FBLN1, expressed by HEK293 , with N-10*His, C-Myc labeled tag.
Background
FBLN1 is a protein incorporated into fibronectin-containing matrix fibers within the extracellular matrix (ECM), potentially playing roles in cell adhesion and migration along ECM protein fibers. It contributes to certain developmental processes and the supramolecular organization of ECM architecture, particularly in basement membranes. Evidence suggests FBLN1 may act as a tumor suppressor, with implications in cellular transformation and tumor invasion. Additionally, its fibrinogen-binding capability and incorporation into clots indicate potential functions in haemostasis and thrombosis. by similar: FBLN1 might also significantly modulate the neurotrophic activities of APP, especially soluble APP.
Verified Bioactivity
Immobilized Human ITGA5-ITGB1 (HY-P73872) at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human FBLN1 Protein, the ED50 for this effect is <2.5 μg/mL.
