Biological Activity
Description
IFNAR1 Protein, Cynomolgus (Biotinylated, HEK293, His, Avi) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived IFNAR1 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-Avi & C-His tag.
Background
IFNAR1, together with IFNAR2, forms the heterodimeric receptor for type I interferons (including interferons alpha, beta, epsilon, omega, and kappa). Binding of type I interferons activates the JAK-STAT signaling cascade. IFNAR1 can also function independently of IFNAR2 by forming an active IFNB1 receptor on its own and initiating a signaling cascade that does not involve the JAK-STAT pathway.
Verified Bioactivity
Loaded Biotinylated Cynomolgus IFN alpha / beta R1, His-Avi Tag on Streptavidin-Biosensor, can bind Human IFN alpha 1, hFc Tag with an affinity constant of 1.0-5.0 nM as determined in BLI assay (Gator).
