Biological Activity
KMT2C Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived KMT2C, expressed by E. coli , with tag Free labeled tag.
KMT2C is a histone methyltransferase that catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-L-methionine to the epsilon-amino group of Lys-4 on histone H3 (H3K4). As part of the chromatin remodeling machinery, it predominantly generates H3K4me1 methylation marks at active chromatin sites where transcription and DNA repair occur. Similar to KMT2D (by similar), KMT2C likely plays a redundant role in enriching the H3K4me1 mark on primed and active enhancer elements.

Solution.
Supplied as a 0.22 μm filtered solution of 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 200 mM NaCl, 20% glycerol, 1 mM DTT.
Note: For SPR assay, please replace the buffer. Primary amine components (e.g., Tris, imidazole) can affect protein-coupled chips.
<1 EU/μg, determined by LAL method.
Please use rapid thawing with running water to thaw the protein.
