LRRC4 is a synaptic adhesion protein that regulates the formation of excitatory synapses by recruiting pre- and postsynaptic proteins. It organizes the lamina/pathway-specific differentiation of dendrites and plays a crucial role in auditory synaptic responses. Additionally, LRRC4 is involved in the suppression of glioma (By similarity).
