MARCO Protein, Human (442a.a, HEK293, His)

MARCO Protein, a pattern recognition receptor (PRR), binds both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, facilitating unopsonized particle binding by alveolar macrophages. It also interacts with the secretoglobin SCGB3A2. Forming disulfide-linked homotrimer structures, MARCO Protein's trimers assemble into larger oligomers, providing an expansive surface area for interactions with substantial ligands. MARCO Protein, Human (442a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived MARCO protein, expressed by HEK293, with N-His labeled tag.
