MASP2 Protein, Human (His)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
MASP2 Protein, a serum protease, critically activates the complement system by auto-catalytically cleaving and subsequently cleaving C2 and C4. This process leads to the activation of C3 and the formation of C3 convertase, essential for the complement cascade. MASP2 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived MASP2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-His labeled tag.

Biological Activity
MASP2 Protein, a serum protease, critically activates the complement system by auto-catalytically cleaving and subsequently cleaving C2 and C4. This process leads to the activation of C3 and the formation of C3 convertase, essential for the complement cascade. MASP2 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived MASP2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-His labeled tag.
MASP2 is a serum protease that plays a crucial role in the activation of the complement system through mannose-binding lectin. Once activated by auto-catalytic cleavage, MASP2 cleaves C2 and C4, resulting in their activation and the subsequent formation of C3 convertase, a pivotal step in the complement cascade.
1. Immobilized Human MASP2 at 0.2 μg/mL (100μL/Well). Dose response curve for Anti-MASP2 Antibody with the EC50 of 3.0-5.3 ng/mL determined by ELISA.
2. Immobilized Human MASP2 at 0.5 μg/mL (100μL/Well). Dose response curve for Anti-MASP2 Antibody with the EC50 of 1.2-5.3 ng/mL determined by ELISA.
3. Measured by its ability to cleave a colorimetric peptide substrate, N-carbobenzyloxy-LysThioBenzyl ester (Z-Lys-SBzl), in the presence of 5,5'Dithio-bis. The specific activity is ≥3000 pmol/min/µg.
4. Immobilized Human MASP2, His Tag at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/Well). Dose response curve for Narsoplimab, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 1.0-10.0 ng/mL determined by ELISA.
