NEK3 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His-GST) is the recombinant mouse-derived NEK3 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-His, N-GST labeled tag.

Background

NEK3 encodes a member of the NimA family of serine/threonine protein kinases. NEK3 protein differs from other NimA family members in that it is not cell cycle regulated and is found primarily in the cytoplasm. Nek3 is activated by prolactin stimulation, leading to phosphorylation of VAV2 guanine nucleotide exchange factor, paxillin, and activation of the RAC1 GTPase[1][2].
