OSMR beta Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His)

Customer Review

Based on 1 Customer Validation

The OSMR beta Protein, in partnership with IL31RA, constitutes the IL31 receptor, binding IL31 to activate STAT3, and potentially STAT1 and STAT5.OSMR beta also transduces OSM-specific signaling. It forms a heterodimer with IL6ST, creating the type II OSM receptor, and another heterodimer with IL31RA for the IL31 receptor.OSMR beta Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived OSMR beta protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Description

Background

The OSMR beta Protein associates with IL31RA to form the IL31 receptor. It binds IL31, triggering the activation of STAT3, and possibly STAT1 and STAT5 (By similarity). Additionally, OSMR beta is capable of transducing OSM-specific signaling events (By similarity). It forms a heterodimer with IL6ST, constituting the type II OSM receptor, and another heterodimer with IL31RA to shape the IL31 receptor.

Verified Bioactivity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mouse OSM R beta is immobilized at 0.5 µg/mL and Recombinant Mouse gp130 at 0.5 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Recombinant Mouse OSM. The ED50 for this effect is 0.9183 ng/mL.
