PRSS2/Trypsin-2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived PRSS2/Trypsin-2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Background

PRSS2 Protein plays an important role in the metastasis and recurrence of multiple tumor types through its actions of destroying the ECM and activating MMPs. PRSS2 enables calcium ion binding activity and serine-type endopeptidase activity. PRSS2 is involved in proteolysis, response to caffeine and response to nicotine.PRSS2 acst upstream of or within digestion[1][2][3].

Verified Bioactivity

Measured by its ability to cleave the fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca- RPKPVE-Nval-WRK(Dnp)-NH2. The specific activity is >1500 pmoles/min/μg.
