RPS6KB2 is a kinase that specifically phosphorylates ribosomal protein S6. It appears to act downstream of mTOR signaling in response to growth factors and nutrients, promoting cell proliferation, cell growth, and cell cycle progression through an alternative pathway regulated by MEAK7.
