Description

SARS-CoV-2 S1 Protein (HEK293, mFc) is the recombinant 2019-nCoV S1 protein with C-mFc tag produced in HEK293 cells[1].

Background

The spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 is a main target for neutralization antibody, uses ACE2 to enter host cells. SARS-CoV-2 S glycoprotein harbors a furin cleavage site at the boundary between the S1/S2 subunits, which is processed during biogenesis and sets this virus apart from SARS-CoV and SARS-related CoVs[1].

Verified Bioactivity

The ED50 is 0.19 μg/mL as measured by ELISA binding capcity to immobolized Human ACE-2, Fc.
