Biological Activity
Description
USP35 Protein, Human (Active, sf9, GST ) is the recombinant human-derived USP35 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells, with N-GST tag.
Background
USP35 is a deubiquitinase involved in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, mitophagy, and endoplasmic reticulum stress. It inhibits TNFalpha-induced NF-kappa-B activation by stabilizing TNIP2 protein through deubiquitination. During mitosis, USP35 plays an essential role by deubiquitinating and regulating Aurora B/AURKB protein levels. Additionally, it regulates the protein levels of key chromosomal passenger complex (CPC) components such as survivin/BIRC5 and Borealin/CDCA8 by enhancing their stability. USP35 also controls mitochondrial degradation through the autophagy process termed mitophagy. by similar: Other studies suggest USP35 may participate in additional, yet unidentified cellular regulatory pathways.
