Biological Activity
Description
VSIG1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived VSIG1 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.
Background
VSIG1 is a member of the adhesion molecule (JAM) family and is expressed in the normal stomach and testicles, as well as in cancers of the stomach, esophagus, and ovary. VSIG1 mediates activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway as a new target for epithelial-mesenchymal transformation in gastric cancer. VSIG1 has a tumor suppressor function, reducing the proliferation and migration ability of tumor cells[1][2][3][4][5].
