Tinurilimab (Bay 1834942) is an anti-CEACAM6 (carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 6) humanized IgG2 monoclonal antibody. CEACAM6 is an immune checkpoint regulator suppressing the activity of effector T-cells against tumors. Tinurilimab shows an increased tumor cell killing effect in the tumor-cell/T-cell co-culture system .

MeOSuc-AAPV-CMK (Elastase Inhibitor III) is an elastase inhibitor that simultaneously inhibits Cathepsin G and Proteinase 3. MeOSuc-AAPV-CMK blocks the shedding of FcgRIIIb on the surface of human neutrophils. MeOSuc-AAPV-CMK reverses the elastase-mediated reduction in proinflammatory cytokine production by immune cells, partially restores IL-1β levels in immune cell co-culture systems, and prevents elastase-mediated adiponectin cleavage .

Flagellin from S. typhimurium is a potent TLR5 agonist. Flagellin from S. typhimurium activates immune cells and inhibits the activity of melanoma cells. Flagellin from S. typhimurium activates the NF-κB pathway dependent on the TLR5/MyD88/TRAF6 signaling axis in cells. Flagellin from S. typhimurium induces a proinflammatory response in the primary chicken hepatocyte-nonparenchymal cell co-culture system by promoting IL-8 production, inhibiting IL-10 production, and increasing the IFN-γ/IL-10 ratio. Flagellin from S. typhimurium can be used for research on melanoma and inflammatory diseases .

o,p'-DDE (2,4-Dichlorodiphenyldichloroethylene) is a metabolite and degradation product of the organochlorine pesticide DDT. It accumulates in smallmouth buffalo, channel catfish, and largemouth bass, and in sediments from DDT manufacturing plants around the Huntsville Spring Branch-Indian Creek tributary system, where it is considered a persistent organic pollutant (POP). o,p'-DDE inhibits estrogen binding to the rainbow trout estrogen receptor (rtER) with an IC50 value of 3.2 μM. It induces concentration-dependent estradiol secretion in co-cultures of granulosa and theca cells isolated from porcine follicles. In ovo exposure to o,p'-DDE increases follicular degeneration and reduces testis size in Japanese medaka (O. latipes).

BRD7116 is a cell-non-autonomous inhibitor of leukemic stem cells (LSCs). BRD7116, without directly contacting LSCs, can inhibit LSCs merely by altering the microenvironment. BRD7116 also has any cell-autonomous effects on LSCs and induces transcriptional changes consistent with myeloid differentiation. BRD7116 can be used for the study of leukemia .

MC-100093 is an orally active, blood-brain barrier-permeable GLT-1 expression upregulator . MC-100093 upregulates the expression of GLT-1 and xCT in rats, and alleviates sedative agent-induced GLT-1 downregulation, IL-6 upregulation and motor hyperactivity. MC-100093 upregulates GLT-1 expression and enhances glutamate uptake in astrocyte-neuron co-culture systems. MC-100093 reduces ethanol consumption and preference, and exerts gender-specific antidepressant-like effects . MC-100093 can be used in studies related to sedative agent overdose, mood disorders and alcohol use disorders .

PV-DPD-19 is an autoinducer-2 (AI-2) quorum sensing inhibitor. PV-DPD-19 reduces AI-2 production and inhibits the expression of multiple MSCRAMMs. In co-culture systems with Staphylococcus aureus, PV-DPD-19 decreases the production of pyocyanin and Elastase in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. PV-DPD-19 impairs the adhesion ability of Staphylococcus aureus to lung epithelial cells. PV-DPD-19 inhibits biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MBIC50 = 27 μg/mL) and Staphylococcus aureus (MBIC50 = 35 μg/mL). PV-DPD-19 shows no cytotoxicity in both in vitro lung epithelial cell models and in vivo Galleria mellonella larva models .
