Under the catalysis of heterogeneous palladium nanoparticles, 4-Fluorobenzeneboronic acid participates in the Suzuki-Miyaura C-C coupling reaction to generate fluorinated biphenyl derivatives. 4-Fluorobenzeneboronic acid also participates in the copper-catalyzed three-component reaction with nitrobenzene and potassium metabisulfite as substrates, and finally produces sulfonamides through the formation of arylsulfinate intermediates, copper-assisted S-N bond construction and reduction steps .
