GSK137647A (GSK 137647) is a potent, selective free fatty acid receptor 4 (FFA4) agonist with pEC50 values of 6.3, 6.2, and 6.1 for human, mouse and rat FFA4, and pEC50 values < 4.5 for all three species for FFA1, FFA2, and FFA3, respectively. GSK137647A has anti-inflammatory activity. GSK137647A induces insulin secretion and inhibits epithelial ion transport, GSK137647A is related to regulation of glucose homeostasis and anti-inflammatory response .

(R)-Elexacaftor ((R)-VX-445) is the enantiomer of Elexacaftor (HY-111772). Elexacaftor is an orally active CFTR modulator that targets nucleotide-binding domain 1. Elexacaftor stabilizes misfolded F508del-CFTR protein, enhances its trafficking to the plasma membrane, and significantly improves metabolic stability, thermal stability and ion conductivity. Elexacaftor not only restores chloride transport function in nasal epithelial cells and rescues multiple CFTR mutation subtypes, but also exerts multiplicative synergistic effects with Ivacaftor (HY-13017), and is often used in a triple combination therapy with Tezacaftor (HY-15448). Elexacaftor is widely used in basic and clinical translational research on cystic fibrosis .

Carbonic anhydrase isoenzyme is an isoform of Carbonic anhydrase (HY-P1775). Carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes are a class of widely distributed metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration-dehydration reaction of the carbon dioxide-bicarbonate system, and also exhibit acetaldehyde hydration and ester hydrolysis activities. Carbonic anhydrase isoenzyme is associated with epithelial ion transport processes involving sodium, potassium, anions, and ammonia. Carbonic anhydrase isoenzyme can be used in research on cancer, glaucoma, obesity, and epilepsy .

Acinetobactin is a bifunctional siderophore secreted by Acinetobacter baumannii that competitively binds ferric iron ions. Acinetobactin supplies A. baumannii by sequestering host-sequestered Fe 3+, while competitively depriving skin and respiratory commensal bacteria of iron resources, thereby exerting growth-inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus hominis, Staphylococcus haemolyticus, and Corynebacterium striatum. The synthesis and transport of Acinetobactin enhance the intracellular epithelial colonization ability of A. baumannii, induce apoptosis of host epithelial cells, and simultaneously improve the survival and invasion capabilities of the bacterium in Galleria mellonella and mouse sepsis models. Acinetobactin can be used in A. baumannii-related research .
