LASSBio-1829 hydrochloride is an orally active IKK2 inhibitor with an IC50 of 3.8 μM against the human target (Sf21 cells). LASSBio-1829 hydrochloride blocks signal transduction of the inflammation-associated NF-κB activation pathway. LASSBio-1829 hydrochloride reduces leukocyte migration, TNF-α biosynthesis, ROS production and NO production. LASSBio-1829 hydrochloride exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in a carrageenan-induced subcutaneous air pouch mouse model. LASSBio-1829 hydrochloride alleviates licking behavior during the inflammatory phase of the mouse formalin test. LASSBio-1829 hydrochloride can be used in inflammation-related research .

Dihydroeleutherinol-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside is an anti-inflammatory agent. Dihydroeleutherinol-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside exists in the rhizomes of Eleutherine bulbosa and acts as a pro-inflammatory cytokine inhibitor. Dihydroeleutherinol-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside inhibits the production of IL-12 p40 (IC50 = 1.0 μM) and IL-6 (IC50 = 5.0 μM) in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated dendritic cells. At the tested concentrations, Dihydroeleutherinol-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside does not inhibit the production of TNF-α in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated dendritic cells and shows no cytotoxicity against dendritic cells. Dihydroeleutherinol-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside can be used in studies related to rheumatoid arthritis .

(3R,5R)-3,5-Dihydroxy-1,7-bis(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)heptane 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside is a diarylheptanol glycoside compound isolated from Tacca plantaginea. (3R,5R)-3,5-Dihydroxy-1,7-bis(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)heptane 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside significantly inhibit TNF-α-induced NF-κB transcriptional activity (IC50 = 9.4 μM). (3R,5R)-3,5-Dihydroxy-1,7-bis(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)heptane 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside significantly activates PPAR transcriptional activity (EC50 = 9.9 μM) and has a specific activating effect on PPAR β(δ) (EC50 = 23.1 μM). (3R,5R)-3,5-Dihydroxy-1,7-bis(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)heptane 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside is non-toxic to cells at the tested concentration. (3R,5R)-3,5-Dihydroxy-1,7-bis(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)heptane 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside can be used for research on inflammatory conditions .
