Description

Telmisartan acyl-β-D-glucuronide is an acyl-β-D-glucuronide and a metabolite of Telmisartan (HY-13955). Telmisartan acyl-β-D-glucuronide can be converted back to Telmisartan upon incubation with Glucuronidase. Partial acyl migration of Telmisartan acyl-β-D-glucuronide occurs under physiological conditions[1][2].

In Vitro

Telmisartan acyl-β-D-glucuronide (0.2 mM; 4 h incubation in phosphate buffer) forms diagnostic [M-H+BF3-2HF]- and [M-H+2BF3-3HF]- ions with BF3, and CAD of the secondary diagnostic ion produces a fragment via an 88 Da mass loss, while unmigrated Telmisartan acyl-β-D-glucuronide does not form these diagnostic ions[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
