White mineral oil is biologically and chemically stable, and doesn’t support pathogenic bacterial growth. White mineral oil can resist moisture, extend, soften, smoothen, and lubricate.

White mineral oil (6-14 days) supports the developmental capacity of bovine oocytes with improved morula- and blastocyst development rate[3].
White mineral oil (2.5-10 % v/v, 4-10 days) promotes the growth of methylotrophic bacteria by increasing the solubility of methane in the culture medium, thereby enhancing the efficiency of methane transfer from the gas phase to the liquid phase[4].
